![]() Extended (paid) support for Windows 7 SP1 is available until January 14, 2020. Windows 7 SP1 mainstream (free) support continues until January 13, 2015. This means you should, if you haven't already, move to Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) if you want to keep getting updates and support from Microsoft. Support for specific Windows releases ends 24 months after the release of a new Service Pack, and Windows 7 SP1 was released in February 2011. That means no more security fixes will be coming for that release.
